“The wings of Tatev” (“TaTever”) is the world’s longest aerial tramway (5.7km). It is located in Syunik Province in South-East Armenia, 250 kilometers away from Yerevan. The longest reversible cableway is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records not only for the length of the cable track, but also the time of its construction (10 months). It has two cabins, each capable of carrying up to 25 passengers and one-way journey takes 10 minutes. At its highest point over the gorge, the car travels 320 m above ground level.
